Hey there!
My name is Nazihah. I’m currently a doctoral researcher looking into the social reproduction of health inequalities across the life course. I have over 10 years of professional experience as a researcher on issues spanning public health, social and gender inequalities, and international trade, always with a focus on how structural forces shape everyday life.
Over the years, I have worked on pressing national policy questions and advised senior government decision-makers as well as grassroots civil society actors. My experiences have shaped my approach as a critical policy researcher, combining my (budding) technical expertise with a commitment to questioning power structures that reproduce inequality.
Increasingly, I want to work towards bringing research back to the people it concerns, not just as beneficiaries but also as contributors to knowledge production and as partners in collective efforts toward more equitable and just societies.
